Rogue Chickens of Maui

In 2019, when my family and I visited Maui for the first time, I hadn’t heard about the feral chickens that roam the island. Throughout our trip we came across chickens in all kinds of unique situations–in parking lots, outside restaurants, wandering the beaches of Kihei. It was an unexpected and hilarious sight to see. They weren’t shy at all. They were rugged and full of character. They definitely left an impression on me. When we got home, I decided I needed to document some of the more memorable moments we shared with the Rogue Chickens of Maui.
